Browse Sessions ListingWhite House Office of National Drug Control Policy
Debbie W. Seguin is the Acting Deputy Director for the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy. In this role, she directly supports the Director in dismantling the supply chain of illicit narcotics and the promotion of demand reduction and recovery. She has also served as the Senior Advisor for supply reduction and Assistant Director for Commercial Disruption and International Relations, where she led ONDCP’s policy and international engagements.
Former Acting DEA Administrator
Derek S. Maltz brings over 30 years of experience in law enforcement, national security, and international strategy. As Acting DEA Administrator, Maltz led the agency’s global mission during rising public health and national security threats. He oversaw operations in 241 domestic and 90 international offices, managed a $3 billion annual budget, and directed initiatives in over 65 countries. Under his leadership, the DEA advanced enforcement strategies to disrupt transnational criminal networks and confronted the synthetic drug crisis, which continues to drive record deaths and present major challenges to law enforcement worldwide.
Former U.S. Marshal
Robert Almonte is a former U.S. Marshal for the Western District of Texas, recognized for his extensive law enforcement experience, management of high-profile cases, and expertise in Mexican cartels. He served as U.S. Marshal from June 2010 to 2016, overseeing a district that includes San Antonio, Austin, Waco, and El Paso. Before his federal role, Almonte spent 25 years with the El Paso Police Department, retiring as Deputy Chief with a focus on narcotics investigations. He led initiatives such as the Hotel/Motel Narcotics Interdiction Unit and the West Texas HIDTA Stash House Task Force.
Ohio State Tight End (2004‑2008)
Rory Nicol’s journey began as a highly recruited athlete at The Ohio State University. After a career‑altering injury in college led to a season of personal struggle, he was forced to confront hard truths about identity, resilience, and responsibility. That turning point became the foundation for Hold Your Rope — Remember Our Purpose. Elevate Others. Today, Rory speaks to athletic teams, corporate groups, nonprofits, and community audiences nationwide. His message challenges audiences to face adversity honestly, take ownership of their choices, and become leaders others can depend on. The rope serves as a powerful metaphor for connection, accountability, and the daily decision to hold on — and to hold others up.
